The stories for these two pages haven't even been written yet. They're just very, very loose ideas. But I figure if I just execute the title panels as a signal of intention I'll just have to bloody well get on with it. Beats pricking around with heaps of half finished sketches and scrawled notes.
I had the great pleasure of reading this mans short story
collection 'Dark Lies the Island' earlier in the year. It’s a brilliant
collection. He’s equally good at idiom as he is at lyrical descriptions of
people and landscapes, and can switch between the two seamlessly. He’s a
naturalist and a magician.
