Here's another clear line composition that pretty much sums up the way I insist on doing everything right now. By keeping the surfaces and the lines uniform you end up with a flat, sterile look that I really like. Someone described it as being very instruction-manually, and that sounds about right. One of my favourite books is my mothers old nurses textbook. It's chock-full of clear line illustrations on cheery stuff like how to apply catheters and bandages and so on. The drawings are spare and purely functional but I absolutely love them.
